It is estimated that the constructions, materials and buildings are responsible for:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>39% of world emissions of carbon dioxide<\/strong> dispersed in the air;<\/li><li><strong>36% of global electricity consumption<\/strong>;<\/li><li><strong>50% of the pollution<\/strong> associated with the extraction of raw materials;<\/li><li><strong>1\/3 of drinking water consumption<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Circular economy<\/h2>\n\n<p>The <strong>World Green Building Council<\/strong>, an international voluntary body, underlined how this sector, by profoundly and radically changing the processes related to the construction, life and demolition of a building in a circular perspective, could provide a <strong>notable contribution to the decarbonisation process of the environment<\/strong>.&#13;\nToday the issue of sustainability represents an objective of primary importance for various production sectors, and the <strong>construction world<\/strong> is also called upon to do its part, becoming <strong>increasingly green, sustainable and respectful of the ecosystem<\/strong>.&#13;\nUrsula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, in a recent speech addressed to the European Parliament, referring to the need to <strong>transform the existing building stock<\/strong> and mitigate its impact on the environment, said: \u201cThe buildings in which we live and work produce more than 40% of emissions. They need to become <strong>less wasteful and expensive and more sustainable<\/strong>. We know that the construction sector can be transformed from a carbon source into a carbon &#8220;reservoir&#8221; if we use construction materials such as wood and use smart technologies. Our new generations must kick off a <strong>European wave of restructuring<\/strong> and make the EU a leader in the circular economy &#8220;.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"500\" src=\"https:\/\/www.salvadormachines.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/img1-salvador-costruzioni-green.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2421\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.salvadormachines.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/img1-salvador-costruzioni-green.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.salvadormachines.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/img1-salvador-costruzioni-green-300x188.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sustainable architecture<\/h2>\n\n<p>But what are we referring to, when we talk about sustainable architecture? To a cultural approach, a branch of traditional architecture that aims to <strong>build by minimizing the environmental impact <\/strong>of buildings, using non-harmful materials, preferring the use of <strong>renewable and recyclable resources<\/strong> and safeguarding the man-building-environment relationship. <strong>Building in a sustainable way<\/strong> means adopting design, construction and plant solutions capable of containing energy losses and ensuring high standards of efficiency, taking into account natural resources and ecosystem from the early stages of the project.<strong> Green building<\/strong> has to do with the environment, energy saving, quality of life and the comfort of those who will live in the building.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"500\" src=\"https:\/\/www.salvadormachines.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/img2-salvador-costruzioni-green.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2426\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.salvadormachines.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/img2-salvador-costruzioni-green.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.salvadormachines.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/img2-salvador-costruzioni-green-300x188.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Green construction<\/h2>\n\n<p>Also driven by the Covid-19 pandemic, in recent months we have been witnessing a real <strong>boom in green construction<\/strong>. In several small and large cities in Northern Europe, <strong>urban forests<\/strong> are springing up characterized by low-impact wooden buildings. This renewable material, in fact, cleans the atmosphere by storing carbon dioxide and has a decisive impact on the healthiness of the environments. In addition to being <strong>easily dismantled and disposed<\/strong> of at the end of their life cycle, prefabricated wooden houses enter into symbiosis with the spaces in which they are inserted, and guarantee energy savings, living comfort, excellent seismic performance, healthiness and design.
