Eurobois is the French trade fair dedicated to wood cutting technology: a reference event in Europe for over 30 years, where the most important dealers in the sector meet to show the latest products.
The 2022 edition of Eurobois has just ended, and it went very well indeed: it recorded +15% more exhibitors than the 2020 edition, which had already been a great success. There was also a significant increase in floor space, to 36,600 square metres (+10%).
This year the fair was held from 13 to 17 June, and we had the pleasure of being hosted by our trusted dealer in France: MPI, a major company specialising in the sale of conventional and CNC woodworking machines.
On figures, taking the wood-furniture and carpentry market as an example, France is recording excellent results: the export of this sector in 2021 recorded a monstrous record, taking the country to first place in the world ahead of Germany and the United States with almost EUR 3 billion and an increase of 13.3% on 2019 and 24.3 on 2020 [FederlegnoArredo data, 04 May 2022].
Part of this great success is also due to France’s long and established tradition in the most diverse woodworking processes.
