The 27th edition of Xylexpo, the biennial world exhibition of woodworking technology and components for the furniture industry, has just ended, and we couldn’t wait to talk to you about it!
Four years after the last edition, Xylexpo was a wonderful opportunity for us all to get together again, with 280 exhibitors from Italy and abroad, concentrated in halls 22 and 24. It was a week full of energy and participation, and the numbers prove it, with more than 16.000 visitors.
Within the increasingly complex and dynamic framework of our times, the event was organized at a truly propitious time, allowing all operators in the sector to come together to share ideas and expertise. All this with an increasingly unavoidable objective: to steer production towards the digitalisation and rationalization of production, following the values of Industry 4.0.
In short, Xylexpo 2022 has confirmed itself as the leading trade fair in the sector for the Mediterranean basin, presenting the most advanced technology in the field of woodworking.
But for us at Salvador this was also a very important trade fair for another reason, related to our history: it was exactly 40 years ago, and precisely at Xylexpo, that we presented our first numerically controlled pusher machine. Salvador was in fact among the first to produce wood optimisation machinery… we can say that our machinery has aged well!
This year at Xylexpo 2022 we exhibited three optimisers for wood cutting.
The new Superpush 150, the entry level cutting center ideal, among others, for the production of window frames and packaging. Our proposal was a great success thanks to its flexibility and ease of use, accompanied by a truly innovative and complete software.
Also present were our Superpush 200 and Supercut 500 workhorses, now a reference point for many operators in the sector, thanks to their versatility and reliability.
All our machines are pre-configured to be installed and interconnected to 4.0 enterprise systems. They are the result of 40 years of history and innovation, and it was really important for us to talk about their advantages in the world of Industry 4.0, in such an inspiring setting as Xylexpo!
