From May 26-30, 2025, the 50th edition of LIGNA takes place in Hannover, Germany: the world’s most important biennial trade fair for woodworking and processing, with more than 80,000 professionals expected from all over the globe. In this context that combines live demos, networking and innovation, Salvador Machines is presenting three important new additions to its wide range of log saws, optimizers and options. Below we preview the main details. To learn more, we look forward to seeing you at LIGNA: Hall 27, Booth K31.

Superstop, the new electronic positioner for miter saws

First up is Superstop, an economical electronic positioner designed to enhance Superup semi-automatic miter saws, but also compatible with any machine assimilated to our line. This unit can be used in both stop and pusher modes, offering a leap in efficiency to all companies still using manual cutting systems.

Built on the same structure as the Superpush 150, the positioner stands out for its superior sturdiness and excellent value for money compared to its competitors. It is equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen panel, with USB port for importing cutting lists created in the office also using CAD software. Upon request, a printer can be installed for automatic labeling of parts.

In stop mode, the operator can load a cutting list with all necessary measurements and quantities, manually call up the desired measurement or type it in, and the positioner will automatically move to the indicated dimension. In pusher mode, the operator sets a fixed cutting sequence in advance: the positioner automatically pushes the material into the cutting area, recording the quantity cut at each cycle and updating the total until the list is complete.

I nuovi aggregati della famiglia All-in-One

The second novelty is the evolution of the All-in-One family’s range of aggregates, designed to perform, in a single step, additional operations to cutting alone, thus reducing machining time and manual steps. The goal is to arrive at a proposal of three separate units for the All-in-One range:

– Notch, a milling unit from below to make slots;

– Mill, a router from above to create slots;

– Drill, a five-head drilling unit for drilling from above.

These modules can be mounted between the pusher and the cutting zone, and will soon be compatible with both the Superangle 600 and straight cutting lines, making the system even more versatile and suitable for integrated production flows.

On display at the show will be the Superangle 600 equipped with the bottom milling unit, which is already available on the market. This configuration is particularly useful in wood carpentry, where notching allows the creation of customized grooves in dimensions, both in height and length, which are functional for the subsequent assembly of beams on site. It also finds application in the packaging industry, where milling is a growing need.

The All-in-One family, which initially started with only the five-pronged drill available exclusively for Superangle 600, has been completely rethought and updated. Today priority in development has been given to bottom milling, while the other two units-Drill and Mill-are at an advanced stage of development and will be available soon. Each module is independent and can be installed individually, depending on the customer’s specific needs.

New feed system for pusher machine

Last but not least news at the show is the new rack and pinion system that will be able to be mounted on Superangle 600 and Superpush 250 models. This system is in addition to the historical and well-established belt system, to reach load lengths up to 14 meters, which are now a standard in many productions especially in the construction sector. The designed system ensures reduced wear and tear compared to similar solutions from other competitors, while maintaining the precision and performance for which Salvador is appreciated worldwide.

Appuntamento a LIGNA: Hall 27, Stand K31

In addition to the two previews, at the Salvador Machines booth it will be possible to see in operation our flagship machines Superpush 200 and Supercut 500 equipped with the new S4U software. Live demos, technical comparisons and customized insights will allow direct evaluation of our systems’ quality, efficiency and ease of integration and use.
