LIGNA 2023, the most important international trade fair for woodworking technology, is coming up: it will take place in Hanover from 15 to 19 May, and we look forward to welcoming you to our exhibition space! Over 150 square metres, where we will display all the optimiser families with Superpush 150, 200 and 250, Superangle 600 and Supercut 500.
At the trade fair, we will be presenting the brand new Salvador: the S4U software, with which all our automatic optimisers will be equipped.
The new S4U software
The new S4U software replaces the previous TROPTIM, and was developed by the in-house research and development department in cooperation with the After Sales and Sales departments.
To all intents and purposes, it represents the result of years of work in contact with the needs of the market, and in the very name of the software – Salvador 4 You – is inscribed our commitment to seeking continuous improvement aimed at the satisfaction of our customers, whose feedback we are always very attentive to.
The new S4U software has been designed to allow, above all, greater flexibility in terms of interfacing the machine with third-party systems, such as scanners, automation and management and pre-optimisation software, and features a completely revised graphic interface to ensure a smoother and more intuitive user experience, where all functions are within mouse reach.
Among the many features introduced by S4U is, for example, the possibility for pusher machines to have an optimised table at the output for a more rational use of space in the factory, or an automatic quality downgrade system for easier work and a more intelligent use of the wood resource.
S4U runs on Microsoft’s latest industrial version of Windows 10 – customised for our product – and relies on a new electronic system in which higher-performance servo drives will be used: a key factor in achieving higher operating speeds and thus greater production capacities, in particular with regard to through-feed machines.
That of the new S4U software is one of the strategic investments made by Solidea Srl (owner of the Salvador brand) in the last period, with a view to industrial advancement: a way of continuing to look to the future, betting on increasingly technological and competitive products that best meet our customers’ needs.
