Trade fairs: an opportunity and an investment since 1982

Four trade fairs and two open houses between Europe and the Middle East: all in just three months. These numbers confirm the strength and will of Salvador, a leader in the field of optimisation machines for wood and plastics processing, to invest in trade fairs and events to allow our customers, and potential ones, to see and touch the latest innovations developed by the Treviso-based company. A commitment driven by confidence in our own technologies and the importance of establishing a direct dialogue with partners. Both fundamental aspects that over the years have allowed the company to expand and establish itself worldwide.

As well as an opportunity to showcase its machines, trade shows are a chance to forge business ties and to listen to and explore customer feedback in person. The latter is in line with Salvador’s approach to constantly improving its products and services.

During these events, we directly deal with the challenges and needs of the sector, in order to understand them and adapt our solutions accordingly. It is this continuous dialogue that allows the company to remain at the forefront, anticipating trends in the wood industry and developing constantly effective and innovative machines.

This was the case at the French biennial Eurobois 2024 in Lyon, at the Wood Tech Warsaw Expo, and at the prestigious HOLZ-HANDWERK in Nuremberg, one of the leading trade fairs in the sector in Europe. Also added to the list were the open houses organized by our sales network partners in their showrooms, including that of Wehrmann in Germany and Teknika in Poland. Another significant moment was the debut at WoodShow Dubai, an important milestone in the consolidation of Salvador’s presence in the Middle East.

At each of these events, Salvador brought the latest innovations for wood cutting, including the new S4U software, developed in response to the evaluations and needs expressed by our partners, which has already met with great success. For our company, trade fairs are in fact a final stage of broader projects of in-house development of technologies relevant to this industry and the result of collaboration between different departments. To sum up, our participation in the events shows that we have innovations to offer the market and we want to present them all over the world.

Looking at upcoming events, you will be able to meet us at the Huisshow at our dealer in the Netherlands Gerretsen Wijhe from April 18th to the 20th, then we will be in Spain at the Fimma Maderalia fair in Valencia from May 14th to the 17th, and we will also be among the protagonists at Xylexpo 2024 in Milan (May 21st-24th): the biennial world exhibition of woodworking technology and the furniture industry, which this year is in its 28th edition. An unmissable trade fair both to get in touch with the most advanced solutions and because it is the first prestigious event Salvador attended in May 1982, just three months after it was founded. Finally, the last event before the summer break will be the IWF international trade fair in Atlanta, scheduled for August.
